Discography

Please Note > The site as a whole is quite large so it will take a few days/weeks for the large amounts of data I have to be uploaded, so be sure to keep checking back as new things will appear daily.
NB: Also note that if there is no information in a section, that section won't be displayed so you may notice some cool sections and features popping up over the next few days as loads of information is uploaded to the archives. I will keep updating this page to let you know what's new and has been added.

Still to be uploaded:
> Detailed release information, tracklistings and values
> Release cover scans
> Detailed song information and lyrics
> Tabs available for each song
> Posters advertising releases

About

You may wonder why a fansite needs a discography when every official band's site contains just that. Unfortunately a discography of that type doesn't have enough detailed information for fans, nor is it organised in a way that enables you to search it easily. By having a discography section it not only enables me to archive and share detailed information from me and other fans about all the releases (thus steming the amount of similar questions on the subject), but it also means it can link with data on other sections of the site - for example a song's page will display every live show the song was played at (for shows where setlists are available). You can then find out what bootlegs are available and track them down. Pretty nifty huh?

So for those reasons if you are just trying to find out how many albums sfk have released, you will probably find the more stripped back discography available at sfk.com more useful - this is because the archive here is quite large as it lists every format of a single release (promos, alternative releases with bonus disks, foreign versions etc.) The same goes for the list of songs. You could almost say it's a bit pedantic even - you will find multiple entries for some songs as each and every version recorded is listed (from radio edits, live recorded versions, remixes, etc.). This is to enable you to keep track of exactly what particular version is on each release (past and present) so you will know if you already have a particular version on a CD you own, or if it's a new or different version you may like to get hold of.

I've also combined multiple sections of the site into this one:
Values and availability: Telling you how much you should pay for a release and the best place to find it - you can now find this on the release detail page
Track by Track information: Which was previously available in the forum will now be listed here. Each song page also lists to the interpretations page for that song on the forum.
7" Answer Archive: Showing covers for each of the 500 individually decorated Answer vinyls - is now listed in the discography section on it's own page
Lyrics - are now available on the song detail page
Bootleg information: Listing all known bootlegs and any information about them - can now be found on the shows page, however shortly you will be able to view them all listed on there own page.
